Viviane Yameogo is a post-Doc at the Institute of Agricultural Science in the Tropics (Hans-Ruthenberg-Institute), where she specializes in sustainable agriculture and innovation systems. Her primary research focuses on livestock policies and sustainable pathways for livestock production in Africa. Additionally, she investigates agricultural innovation systems, particularly the roles of research, extension services, and agricultural education in fostering sustainable agricultural development. Prior to her current position, Viviane worked with the International Livestock Research Institute on various projects, including the valuation of ecosystem services and assessing crop-livestock integration practices among smallholder farmers. She holds a B.A. in Economics from the University of Cape Coast, Ghana, an M.Sc. in Applied Environmental Economics from the University of Kent, England, and a Ph.D. in Agricultural Sciences from the University of Hohenheim, Germany.
