PhD Research Project: Intrahousehold collective action in crop-livestock farming systems - A case study from Burkina Faso
Inefficiencies resulting from a non-optimal allocation of resources such as land, labor, and capital within farm households can undermine food security and livelihoods. Focusing on Burkina Faso, the research project explores gender dynamics that drive or constrain cooperation among household members. Emphasis is paid on the institutional arrangements that shape intra-household behavior and its influence on resource allocation.
